Sony style now with 64bit Vista

Sony VAIOs now with 64bit Until recently Sony VAIO notebooks only came in the 32bit flavours of Windows Vista but now (and in a bid to increase RAM sizes) Sony are now giving you a chance to buy your VAIO (custom built) with a 64bit version of Windows.

So what’s the 64bit advantage? Essentially it gives you the option to have more RAM and thus allowing you to have even more applications open at the same time (more on 64bit).

Today Orange launched the HP/Compaq Mini 700 on their website with a 24 month contact costing £29.36/month. For your money you get the fantastic new HP netbook (link) and 3GB of browse/download from Oranges UK mobile network with speeds up to 3.6Mbps.

However with this Orange contract over the 24months you could be paying a little over £700, so if this isn’t to your tastes 3 have the same netbook for £20/month with just 1GB of browse/download. At this rate from Three/3 you would pay £480 over the 24 months.
